Thats right, I'm buying my grandma's current car, so she can buy a brand new Dodge Minivan for $15,000. I'm paying $5,000
for this beautiful tan car with about 51,000 miles on the clock. It is the GS model, so it has the 2.0L DOHC 125 hp I-4, with
a power hungry 4-speed auto.
The est. 0-60 is about 12.00, and the top speed is 105 MPH, her shift point is 6000. Rev limiter @ 6750. This car will
feature my current stereo set up and hopefully maybe subwoofers in the future.
**Update**
The car has 63950 miles today November 3rd, 2004. I hit a curb to avoid a dump truck @ 50 mph on July 27th, bent control
arm and tie rod, $ 275.86. Neither insurance company would cover it. I was better off hitting the FUCKER!!!
On the 1st of the year I replaced the spark plugs, and a day later the wires. I broke the cylinder 4 wire internaly and
figured it would be easier to replace them all.
A truck kicked a branch an inch in diameter and I hit it going 65, a one and a half inch crack on top of the bumper,
a semi-broken grille (6 of the teeth were broken out), and a dent in the hood are a result. $500 in damage. I tried to chace
the son of bitch, but my car was slower than the Ford Expedition, plus I heard a rubbing noise under the car, part of
the branch got caught between the car and the tire.
She has now 70,700 miles and still a ticking strong. More to come soon...
